Winter hiking tips in the Stubai Valley
Winter hike to Brandstattalm
During a winter holiday in Stubai, a hike to the traditional Brandstattalm in Oberbergtal is well worthwhile. From the Josef car park, the route proceeds over 3.5 kilometres and 420 metres of ascent, taking about 1 1/2 hours at a leisurely pace through snow-covered woodlands. Up at the top, traditional Alpine inn delicacies await, as does an inviting Alpine inn ambience. The tour can be combined with a toboggan run to get back to the valley.
Winter hike to Milderaunalm
This winter hike in Stubai to Milderaunalm is a real classic. From the car park in Oberegg, the path proceeds over 4.1 kilometres and 470 metres of ascent, heading through the idyllic snow-covered landscape to the cosy Alpine inn. There, traditional Stubai specialities await. The return section to the valley can either be done on foot or via toboggan. (Toboggans are available to hire at the inn)
